Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th of June in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Ellen Dennings who is Kat's maternal grandmother, is a writer and speech therapist. She has a father named Gerald. Gerald is a professor at a university and molecular biologist. Dennings is youngest of five children and grew as a child in an orthodox Jewish household. Dennings had a short stint at a the traditional schools and was also schooled at home. Homeschooling made sense because she was a keen actress from a very young age. She was able finish her high school education at the age of 14. The actress had begun her performing in commercials by the age of nine. Her family relocated from the city of Los Angeles after she graduated high school to allow her to take up acting. She began auditioning under the name of Kat Dennings. Kat Dennings, who moved from LA in 2000, moved to LA in the year 2000, made her debut on the HBO show called "Sex and the City". Kat Dennings appeared in "Sex and City" in HBO.
