Jhene Aiko is an American R&B singer and songwriter. She became famous in 2011, for her mix tape Sailing Souls(s), released by her own website. She started her musical career when she was in her teens, as a vocalist in her favorite R&B band B2K. In a misleading promotional strategy she claimed to be the "cousin of B2K Rapper Lil Fizz. Sail Out The Worst Uh Huh and Why I love You were among her top tracks. Cherry Pie was her first single as a singer on the soundtrack to The Master of Disguise in 2002. The former boyfriend of hers, ORYANS's debut music video"Take It Slow, featured her. She mainly works in categories like Hip-Hop, R&B as well as Rap. Her hit single, 3:16 AM released under A&R's popular publishing label increased her exposure. The song is also available to download digitally on iTunes. After she collaborated together with Canadian rapper Drake on his album, Nothing Was The Same she was recognized internationally.
